How to keep an IPX8 TPU bag in perfect condition

High quality IPX8 waterproof bag normally cost us hundreds dollars,so we need to learn how to keep an IPX8 bag in perfect condition after use each time.Waterproof bag is made by high frequency welding,the material can be TPU or PVC.Normally the IPX8 bag will be used TPU and airtight zipper to keep the water out.The material and the making way are quite different with normal use sewn bag,the storage way will be quite different also.

We have two kinds of IPX8 bags,one is with waterproof zipper closure,the other is using airtight seal closure.Before you use the bag,please check that closure is clean and properly lubricated with silicone lube or some oil.After use the dry bag,you can just use the white cloth to wipe the bag,pls do not use machine wash.Hang it in a cool and shady place to wait it dry. Pls lubricate the waterproof zipper or airtight seal after it is clean and dry,and then keep it plastic bag and not exposed to sun/heat/moisture.

Our airtight seal is special with waterproof zipper,there are some points need to be concerned when you open and close it.

Opening

Do not force bag open by pulling the tabs apart. Sealock dry bags have a very tight and completely leak proof closure.Improper opening will destroy the seal.

First,Grip bag by its closure with both hands,laying thumbs over the grip tabs.Keep index fingers on the tracks of the seal.

Second,squeeze and kink closure in to both palms,forming and “S” with hands offset.

Third,bag will pop open easily.this technique becomes easier after practice

Closing

Make sure closure is clean and properly lubricated.Snap closure together and pull apart a few times to evenly distribute lubricant/protectant
