A Customer Watches the Container Fill: Supervised Loading at Sealock's Vietnam Facility

On-site oversight, weigh-and-check, and photo records — how a major brand customer verified a material shipment as it was loaded, roll by roll

HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam — [JULY], 2026 — Earlier this week the team from a globally recognized drinkware brand stood on the dock at Sealock's Vietnam facility and watched a container fill from the inside out. The load was rolls of material, each wrapped, labeled and staged; before any of it went aboard, it was weighed, cross-checked against the paperwork, photographed, and only then handed up into the container. It's a routine most buyers never see and many never ask for — and it's exactly the kind of visibility Sealock is set up to offer.

What "supervised loading" actually verifies

Customer-supervised loading — witnessing the container being stuffed in person — exists because a shipment can look right on paper and still be wrong in the box. Standing at the door as it fills lets a buyer confirm the things that matter before the doors are sealed: that the count matches the order, that every roll carries the correct label and lot number, that nothing is damaged or damp, and that the load is stacked and secured so it arrives the way it left. Once the container is closed and moving, none of that can be checked again without opening it — which is why the hour spent watching it load is worth it.

At Sealock's Vietnam plant that oversight is built into the flow rather than staged for a visit. Material moves through a marked receiving area, each roll is weighed and reconciled against its documents, labels and lot numbers are verified, and the loading itself is recorded in photos for the customer's own file. The buyer isn't being shown a demonstration; they're watching the same checks the plant runs whether or not anyone is standing there.

Why it happens in Vietnam

This loading took place at Sealock's Ho Chi Minh City facility — one half of a dual China–Vietnam footprint that pairs the company's long-established Dongguan operation with production and logistics on the ground in Vietnam. For brands rethinking where their goods are made and shipped from, that second base matters: it gives buyers a Southeast Asian option alongside China, with the same welding discipline, the same QC standards and the same in-house control, run by one company rather than a chain of unrelated vendors.

The trilingual signage on the floor — Chinese, Vietnamese and English — is a small sign of how the operation actually runs: a Chinese manufacturer's systems, executed by a local Vietnamese team, documented in the language the customer reads. Supervised loading is where all three meet, and where a buyer can see for themselves that the paperwork, the plant and the shipment line up.

Transparency as a standard, not a favor

Not every supplier will open the container door and invite a customer to watch. Sealock treats that openness as part of the service: on-site inspection, weigh-and-reconcile at shipment, verified labeling and photo records are available to customers who want them, at either the China or Vietnam base. It's the same principle that runs through the factory — check it, prove it, and don't ask anyone to take it on trust when they can see it instead.
