Product Description

SL-E327 is a 20L waterproof hiking backpack measuring 18 × 25 × 56 cm and weighing 1.2 kg. The body is 600D TPU with high-frequency welded seams, and the main compartment closes with a roll-top and a single side-release buckle. On the front, a zip pocket with a mesh face sits under a horizontal zip, flanked by shock cord with toggles for stowing a jacket or wet layer. Two curved vertical zip pockets run down the front corners for small items. At the base of the front panel, two webbing loops take trekking poles or a lashed item. The harness has padded shoulder straps with grey binding, an adjustable sternum strap, lower strap adjusters and a padded back panel with ventilation channels, plus a top grab handle. Standard colourways are khaki with green, khaki with blue and khaki with red trim, and an all-over floral print in blue, teal and pink with yellow zips.

Construction and Water Behaviour

The body seams are high-frequency welded, so the main compartment has no needle holes or seam tape. The pocket frames and the harness anchors are welded onto the body rather than stitched through it. The harness itself, including the shoulder straps, back panel and binding, is sewn, which is how it gets its padded, contoured shape. Sealock runs sewn construction as an equally mature in-house process, and this pack uses both: welding where the bag must stay dry, sewing where it must be comfortable.

With the top rolled at least three times and buckled, the main compartment is rated IPX6, verified by heavy rain and water-jet testing on finished packs. It stays dry through a full day of hiking in heavy rain or spray on a boat or paddleboard. The front and side zip pockets use water-resistant zips and should be treated as splash-proof storage. The pack is not built to be submerged.

Carrying and Layout

The main compartment is a single open space sized for a day hike: a rain jacket, an insulating layer, food, water and a first-aid kit. The roll-top adjusts the volume, so the pack can be rolled down tight when half full. The mesh-front pocket holds items you want to see and reach quickly, the shock cord takes a jacket on the outside, and the two side zip pockets keep keys, a phone or a map within reach. The padded shoulder straps and back panel spread the load, the sternum strap stops the straps from sliding off the shoulders on uneven ground, and the ventilation channels in the back panel let air move between the pack and your back.

Quality Inspection Standards

Every production run is checked at IQC, IPQC and OQC. The suite covers load testing to 1,500 cycles, zipper fatigue to 3,000 cycles, tensile and bonding strength on welded seams and harness anchors, seam strength and bar-tack pull tests on the sewn harness, buckle pull and release testing, abrasion on the base, colour fastness and print colour difference against the approved sample, and heavy rain and water-jet testing on finished packs. Third-party inspection by SGS or QIMA can be arranged at the buyer's cost.

Product Highlights

20 L roll-top hiking daypack in welded 600D TPU, IPX6 main compartment. Mesh-front zip pocket, two side zip pockets and shock-cord lashing for quick-access storage. Padded shoulder straps, sternum strap and ventilated back panel for all-day comfort. Welded body with a sewn harness: waterproof where it matters, padded where it counts. Three khaki colourways and an all-over floral print, with custom prints at MOQ 300.

Printing and Logo

All-over patterns, such as the floral print shown, are printed on the TPU fabric before cutting, so the design runs continuously across the panels; custom patterns can be produced at MOQ 300 per print. Screen printing and heat transfer suit logos on solid colours. Welded TPU patches give a raised, tonal mark. Woven labels and embroidery go on the sewn harness only, never through the welded waterproof body. Zip, binding and webbing colours can be matched to the brand. Artwork is required as vector files; a digital placement proof is returned before sampling.

OEM / ODM Capability

Sealock has manufactured waterproof bags for over 20 years, with factories in Guangdong, China and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam — the second site giving brands a non-China origin option where tariff exposure matters. We hold ISO 9001, BSCI, SMETA, Higg, GRS and SCAN certification, and have produced for outdoor brands including OSPREY, KAILAS and snow peak.

Many buyers know Sealock for high-frequency welding, but sewn construction is an equally mature in-house capability, and backpacks like this one depend on both. Most demanding requirements can be met, from a colourway or print change to a hip belt, hydration system, new capacity or full redesign; complex development with new patterns adds time to the first sample cycle, which is worth planning for early.

FAQ

What is the minimum order quantity?

300 pieces per colour or print.

What does it cost?

Price depends on quantity, fabric, print, harness options and logo method. Send your specification to info@sealock.com.hk and we will quote within one working day.

Can we put our own logo or pattern on it?

Yes. Logos can be screen printed, heat transferred or welded on as patches, and woven labels can go on the harness. Custom all-over patterns are printed on the TPU at MOQ 300 per print.

Is it fully waterproof?

The main compartment is rated IPX6 with the top rolled at least three times and buckled: it stays dry in heavy rain and spray. The front and side pockets are splash-proof. It is not submersible.

What fits in a 20L hiking backpack?

A rain jacket, a warm layer, food, a water bottle and a first-aid kit for a day hike, or a change of clothes and toiletries for a night away.

Does it have a hip belt?

The standard pack has a sternum strap but no hip belt, which suits loads up to about 10 kg. A hip belt can be added on custom orders.

Can I fit a hydration bladder?

The standard pack has no dedicated hydration sleeve. A sleeve and hose port can be added on custom orders.

What is the shock cord on the front for?

It holds a jacket, a wet layer or a sit pad on the outside of the pack, so it stays separate from the dry contents.

How do I clean it?

Wipe the TPU surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent, rinse off salt or mud, and let it dry with the top open.

What is the lead time?

Samples in 7–15 days. Production is 30–35 days after sample approval, from either the China or the Vietnam factory.
