The SEALOCK SL-P255 is a container rather than a bag. It holds a rigid box shape at 25 × 15.5 × 13.5 cm, stands upright on a bathroom shelf or a boat deck without tipping, and opens flat along a full-length waterproof zipper so the entire contents are visible in one motion. A transparent window on one side means you can identify it without opening it at all.
That combination — structured form, full-width opening, and a window — is what separates a working organiser from a pouch you end up emptying onto a bed to find anything. Wet wash kit, spare electronics, a first aid kit, cables and chargers, ammunition, medication, fishing terminal tackle: all of it stays dry, stays sorted, and stays findable.
At 150 grams in welded TPU laminate, with four colourways including a multicam pattern, the SL-P255 works as a dopp kit for travel, a dry organiser inside a larger pack, and a field pouch where the contents matter more than the bag.
Most waterproof pouches are flat sleeves. They are cheap to produce, they pack flat, and they are close to useless as organisers — a flat pouch with hard contents becomes a lumpy parcel, it will not stand up, and the opening collapses shut the moment you let go of it. You end up holding it open with one hand and digging with the other.
The SL-P255 is welded as a structured box with formed corners and a flat base. It stands on its own. It stays open when unzipped. Set it on a bathroom shelf in a hotel or on a hatch cover on a boat and it behaves like a case, not a bag. For a wash kit this is the difference between a product people use and one they replace.
The shape also uses space properly. A flat pouch holding a bottle, a charger, and a razor wastes the volume around them; a box of the same nominal capacity actually fits them. At 5.2 litres of formed volume, this pouch swallows a full travel wash kit or a substantial field first aid kit.
Once you own more than one pouch, they all look identical from the outside. The window removes the guesswork: contents are identifiable at a glance, so the right pouch comes out of the pack the first time.
This matters most in the situations where opening a waterproof container is genuinely inconvenient — a first aid pouch in a kit bag where seconds count, a cable pouch at a security checkpoint, a wash kit in a shared bathroom, an ammunition pouch that needs to be identified without unsealing. Every unnecessary opening is also a zipper cycle, and on a sealed zipper the cycles are what eventually wear the sealing surfaces.
The window is welded into the body panel rather than sewn in, so its perimeter is not a leak path. It is positioned on one face only; the opposite face carries the branding area and stays solid, which is what allows a printed or embroidered logo to sit cleanly on a full panel.
We build roll-top closures across most of our dry bag range because they are the most durable waterproof architecture available. On a pouch this size, a zipper is the better engineering decision, and it is worth explaining why rather than presenting it as a cost choice.
A roll-top needs roughly 10 to 12 centimetres of material above the contents to fold three turns. On a 30-litre dry bag that is a small proportion of the height. On a 13.5-centimetre-tall pouch it is most of the bag — you would lose nearly half the usable volume to the closure, and the rolled top would sit as a bulky wad on a container designed to pack flat against other items. A roll-top also has to be unrolled and re-rolled every time, which on a wash kit opened three times a day is a poor trade.
The sealed zipper runs the full length of the top and around both ends, so the pouch opens wide enough to reach every corner. Two things follow that buyers should pass to end users: it runs stiffer than a conventional zipper, especially when new, because the resistance is the sealing surfaces compressing; and it must be closed completely into its end stop, since a sealed zipper left short is simply an open bag.

The regular box shape packs against other items without wasting the space around it, unlike a rounded or flat-sleeve pouch.
The body is TPU laminate, high-frequency welded throughout. There are no stitch holes anywhere in the waterproof shell, which removes the failure mode that ends most stitched-and-taped waterproof products: the tape is always the weakest component, and it lifts long before the fabric wears out.
TPU is specified here over PVC for two reasons that matter on a small container. It holds a formed shape at a lighter gauge, which is how a 5.2-litre structured box comes in at 150 grams. And it stays flexible in cold without the plasticiser migration that gradually stiffens PVC — relevant on a pouch that gets creased at the zipper line every single time it is opened.
High-frequency welding fuses every seam and formed corner into continuous material, producing joints as watertight as the panels themselves.
The clear panel is welded into the body aperture, so the window perimeter is part of the sealed shell rather than a separate joint.
The sealed zipper is bonded into the opening and checked for full-length engagement, including the returns around both ends.

Laminate rolls are checked for coating consistency and colour against the approved standard; sealed zippers, window film, buckles, and webbing are verified before release to the line.
Body panels, gussets, window aperture, and base are cut to fixed tooling. On a formed box, dimensional accuracy is what makes the corners meet squarely.
The clear panel and the strap anchor platforms are welded onto flat panels first, while every weld line is fully accessible and inspectable.
Side seams, base, and corners are high-frequency welded to form the box structure, producing a continuous shell with no stitch penetrations.

It is built to survive immersion incidents — a dropped pouch, a swamped hatch, a bag that goes over the side and is retrieved. It is not designed for deliberate or prolonged submersion. For sustained underwater use, a roll-top closure is the correct architecture and we build that in our dry bag range.
On a pouch 13.5 cm tall, a roll-top would consume most of the usable height and add a bulky rolled wad to a container designed to pack flat. The zipper gives full-width access with no volume penalty. On larger dry bags we specify roll-tops for exactly the opposite reason.
Because it is a compression seal, not an interlocking coil. The resistance is the sealing surfaces pressing together, and it eases over the first weeks of use. A waterproof zipper that opens easily out of the box is usually not sealing.
