Product Description

SL-C529 is an insulated cooler tote bag measuring 50 × 30 × 30 cm and holding about 30 liters, enough for around 36 standard 330 ml cans without ice. It weighs about 1.3 kg. The outer shell is a canvas-texture TPU-laminated polyester in khaki or light grey, with 12 mm of closed-cell EPE foam behind it and an orange food-grade TPU liner welded into a single tub. All body seams are high-frequency welded. The top closes with an airtight waterproof zip running the full width of the opening. Two black webbing tote handles are fixed to welded patches on each face, long enough to carry by hand or over the shoulder. A webbing daisy-chain strip on a welded patch runs down the front for clipping a bottle opener, carabiner or keys, and each end carries a D-ring for an optional shoulder strap. A bottle opener can be added on request.

Construction and Water Behaviour

The shell, the liner and the handle patches are all high-frequency welded, so there are no stitch holes in the cold compartment or through the outer wall. The handle webbing is sewn only to its welded patch, which spreads the weight of a full tote of ice and drinks across a wide area of fabric. Melt-water stays in the welded liner instead of soaking into the foam, so the bag keeps its insulation and does not hold odour after a season of use.

With the airtight zip closed, the tote is rated IPX7, verified by full water-immersion test, 2+ hours. It is leakproof in any orientation, so melt-water stays in when the bag tips over on the sand or lies on its side in a car boot, and rain or spray stays out on a boat. It is not rated for depth exposure.

Cold Holding

Packed with ice, closed and kept out of direct sun, the tote holds ice for approximately 24 hours in our trials at 25 °C ambient. Results change with ambient temperature, sun exposure, how often the bag is opened and whether the contents were chilled before loading. The airtight zip helps here: it removes the air leak along the closure that lets warm air into coolers with a standard zip. Thicker foam or PU insulation can be specified for longer hold times.

Carrying and Use

The tote shape is built for the walk from car to beach, dock or picnic spot. The handles carry it by hand or over one shoulder, and an optional shoulder strap clips to the end D-rings for longer distances. The front daisy chain keeps a bottle opener or keys on the outside. The wide opening makes it easy to load bottles upright and reach drinks at the bottom.

Recommended Use

Beach days, boating and sailing, picnics, tailgates, pool parties, grocery runs for chilled and frozen food, and catering drops. Suitable for drinks, food and ice. Not intended for depth exposure.

Quality Inspection Standards

Every production run is checked at IQC, IPQC and OQC. The suite covers load testing to 1,500 cycles, zipper fatigue to 3,000 cycles, tensile and bonding strength on welded seams and handle patches, abrasion on the base, colour fastness and colour difference against the approved sample, and full water-immersion testing on finished totes. Because the zip is airtight, totes also go through our customer inspection procedure — unboxing, vacuum extraction, 24-hour static rest and air-leak determination. Third-party inspection by SGS or QIMA can be arranged at the buyer's cost.

Printing and Logo

Screen printing suits solid one- to three-colour marks on the canvas-texture surface and resists UV and salt. Heat transfer handles multi-colour artwork. Welded patches and raised silicone prints give a tonal, textured mark that suits the casual tote look. Liner and webbing colours can be matched to the brand. Artwork is required as vector files; a digital placement proof is returned before sampling.

The cooler is high-frequency welded, while the handle webbing is sewn to its welded patches, and sewn construction is an equally mature in-house capability rather than an outsourced step. Most demanding requirements can be met, from a colour and logo change to new sizes, thicker insulation or a full redesign; complex development with new tooling adds time to the first sample cycle, which is worth planning for early.
