Product Description

SL-C428 is a 20L roll-top duffel bag, holding 20 liters in a cylindrical body that measures 45 × 24 × 24 cm when rolled and weighs 0.6 kg. The body is 500D PVC tarpaulin in black, with all seams high-frequency welded. The opening runs along the top of the bag and closes by rolling the top down and joining the side-release buckles at each end. Two webbing handles are anchored on a welded panel carrying the logo, and a hook-and-loop grip wrap joins them into a single handle. Each end of the bag has a D-ring for the detachable shoulder strap, which has swivel snap hooks and a non-slip padded shoulder section. A webbing strap with a buckle on one end can be used to cinch the load or lash the bag to a deck, rack or larger pack.

Construction and Water Behaviour

The body seams and the handle panel are high-frequency welded, so there are no needle holes through the waterproof wall. The handles are sewn to their webbing only, and the webbing is fixed to the welded panel, not stitched through the body. That keeps the cylinder intact as a single sealed shell from end to end.

The rating is IPX6, verified by heavy rain and water-jet testing on finished bags. With the top rolled at least three times and both buckles closed, the bag stays dry in heavy rain, spray on a boat or splashes on a dock. A roll-top seals by folding rather than by compression, so the bag is not built to be submerged. For electronics, documents or anything that must survive a capsize, use a separate dry pouch inside.

Carrying and Use

At 20 L, the bag is sized for a day on the water, a gym session or an overnight trip: a change of clothes, a towel, a light jacket and toiletries. It carries by hand on the wrapped twin handles, or over one shoulder on the detachable strap. The roll-top adjusts the volume: roll it down tight for a half-empty load, or leave fewer rolls when the bag is full. Empty, it folds flat for packing inside a larger bag.

Recommended Use

Day trips on boats, kayaks and paddleboards where the bag rides on deck, beach and pool days, gym and swim sessions, overnight travel, and cycling or motorcycle trips where the bag is strapped to a rack. Suitable for clothing, towels and soft gear. Not intended for submersion; keep electronics in a separate dry pouch.

Quality Inspection Standards

Every production run is checked at IQC, IPQC and OQC. The suite covers load testing to 1,500 cycles, tensile and bonding strength on welded seams and the handle panel, buckle pull and release testing, abrasion on the base, colour fastness and colour difference against the approved sample, and heavy rain and water-jet testing on finished bags. Third-party inspection by SGS or QIMA can be arranged at the buyer's cost.

Product Highlights

20 L roll-top duffel at 0.6 kg. High-frequency welded 500D PVC body with handles mounted on a welded panel, so no stitching runs through the waterproof wall. Roll-top that adjusts to the load. Twin handles with grip wrap and a detachable non-slip shoulder strap. Side strap for cinching or lashing. Folds flat when empty. MOQ 300 with Pantone colour matching and other capacities available as a travel set.

Printing and Logo

Screen printing is the standard method on PVC tarpaulin and holds up to UV, salt and repeated folding. Heat transfer suits multi-colour artwork. Welded PVC patches give a raised, tonal mark, and reflective print adds visibility for cycling and motorcycle use. Logos are placed on the handle panel or the side walls, clear of the roll-top fold zone, so the print does not crack with repeated rolling. Artwork is required as vector files; a digital placement proof is returned before sampling.

OEM / ODM Capability

Sealock has manufactured waterproof bags for over 20 years, with factories in Guangdong, China and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam — the second site giving brands a non-China origin option where tariff exposure matters. We hold ISO 9001, BSCI, SMETA, Higg, GRS and SCAN certification.

The bag body is high-frequency welded, while the handle wrap and shoulder pad are sewn, and sewn construction is an equally mature in-house capability rather than an outsourced step. Most demanding requirements can be met, from a colour and logo change to a set of matching capacities, a different closure or a full redesign; complex development with new patterns adds time to the first sample cycle, which is worth planning for early.

FAQ

What is the minimum order quantity?

300 pieces per colour.

What does it cost?

Price depends on capacity, quantity, fabric, closure and logo method. Send your specification to info@sealock.com.hk and we will quote within one working day.

Can we put our own logo on it?

Yes. Screen print, heat transfer, welded patches and reflective print are all available, with Pantone matching on body and webbing.

What fits in a 20L duffel bag?

A change of clothes, a towel, a light jacket and toiletries for a day trip or one night away, or a wetsuit and towel for a session on the water.

Is it fully waterproof?

It is rated IPX6: with the top rolled at least three times and buckled, it stays dry in heavy rain and spray. It is not submersible.

How many times should I roll the top?

At least three full rolls before closing the buckles. Fewer rolls let water in under driving rain or spray.

Can it be strapped to a bike or a deck?

Yes. The side webbing strap and the end D-rings can be used to lash the bag to a rack, a deck line or a larger pack.

Can we order matching sizes as a travel set?

Yes. The same design can be produced in 10, 30, 40 and 60 L and packed as a matching set.

How do I clean it?

Rinse with fresh water after salt water or sand, wipe with mild detergent, and let it dry open before folding.

What is the lead time?

Samples in 7–15 days. Production is 30–35 days after sample approval, from either the China or the Vietnam factory.
