Product Description

SL-I093 is a flip-lid cooler tote measuring 44 × 26 × 41 cm and holding about 30 liters, enough for 36 standard 330 ml cans plus ice. It weighs 1.6 kg. The shell is 840D TPU laminated waterproof fabric over closed-cell EPE foam, and the food-grade liner is high-frequency welded, as is the body. The top opens across its full 55 cm width through a waterproof zipper with a T-pull. Over the zipper, a fold-over flip lid closes down onto the front panel with hook-and-loop, and carries its own zip pocket on top. Reinforced webbing tote handles are anchored on welded patches, each ending in three moulded lash points for carabiners or straps. Side D-rings take the removable adjustable shoulder strap, and a stainless steel bottle opener is riveted to the side. The base is reinforced. Standard colours are yellow and orange, both with black handles and trim.

Flip Lid and Wide Opening

The zipper runs the full width of the bag, so the opening spreads to 55 cm when unzipped. Bottles, food containers and bags of ice go in without tilting, and the contents can be seen at a glance. The flip lid folds over the closed zipper and fastens with hook-and-loop. It keeps sun, sand and rain off the zip line, and adds an extra layer of insulation across the top, where most heat enters a cooler that is opened often.

Construction and Water Behaviour

The body and liner are high-frequency welded, so there are no stitch holes in the cold compartment or through the outer wall. The handles and lash points are mounted on welded patches, never stitched through the body. Melt-water stays inside the welded liner instead of soaking into the foam, so the insulation stays dry and the cooler does not hold odour.

The cooler is rated IPX6, verified by heavy rain and water-jet testing on finished units. With the zipper closed and the lid down, it is leakproof in normal use: melt-water stays in during carrying, and rain and spray stay out. It is not designed to be submerged.

Cold Holding

Packed with ice, closed and kept out of direct sun, the cooler holds ice for up to 36 hours in our trials at 25 °C ambient. Results change with ambient temperature, sun exposure, how often it is opened and whether the contents were chilled before loading.

Recommended Use

Quality Inspection Standards

Every production run is checked at IQC, IPQC and OQC. The suite covers load testing to 1,500 cycles, zipper fatigue to 3,000 cycles, tensile and bonding strength on welded seams and handle patches, hook-and-loop peel strength, salt-spray on the bottle opener and D-rings, abrasion on the base, colour fastness and colour difference against the approved sample, and heavy rain and water-jet testing on finished coolers. Third-party inspection by SGS or QIMA can be arranged at the buyer's cost.

Printing and Logo

The flip lid is the main branding surface and faces forward whenever the cooler is closed. Screen printing suits solid one- to three-colour marks and resists UV and salt. Heat transfer handles multi-colour artwork. Welded TPU patches and raised silicone prints give a tonal, textured mark. Shell, lid, handle and liner colours can be matched to the brand. Artwork is required as vector files; a digital placement proof is returned before sampling.

The cooler body is high-frequency welded, while the handles and shoulder strap are sewn, and sewn construction is an equally mature in-house capability rather than an outsourced step. Most demanding requirements can be met, from a colour and logo change to an airtight zipper, new sizes or full custom development; complex development with new tooling adds time to the first sample cycle, which is worth planning for early.
