Product Description

SL-I074 is a wide-mouth soft cooler measuring 39 × 25 × 28 cm and holding about 20 liters, enough for around 26 standard 330 ml cans without ice. It weighs about 1.5 kg. The shell is a melange-texture TPU-laminated fabric over 15 mm of closed-cell foam, and the blue food-grade TPU liner is high-frequency welded into a single leakproof tub. All body seams are high-frequency welded. The top opens like a doctor's bag: a heavy-duty waterproof zip runs across the top, and when it is opened the mouth spreads wide for loading bottles, food containers and ice. Above the opening sits a rigid moulded top handle, with two webbing handles below it on welded patches. On the front, a square welded pocket with a side zip holds keys, a phone or a bottle opener. Moulded anchors at each end take the detachable padded shoulder strap on carabiner-style snap hooks. Standard colourways are heather grey with a black base, and sky blue with a light grey base and trim.

Wide-Mouth Opening

Most soft coolers open through a lid or a narrow top zip, which makes it hard to see and reach what is at the bottom. On SL-I074, the zip runs across a gusseted top, so the opening spreads wide when unzipped and closes into a narrow ridge when zipped. Wine bottles, food containers and bags of ice go in without tilting, and the whole interior is visible at a glance. Closed, the narrow top reduces the surface area of the closure, which helps with cold holding.

Rigid Top Handle

The moulded top handle keeps its shape under load, so a full cooler can be lifted with one hand without the handles folding together and pinching. It also holds the top of the bag in shape when carried. The webbing handles below it give a second grip for two-handed lifts, and the shoulder strap takes over for longer walks.

Construction and Water Behaviour

The shell, liner and handle patches are high-frequency welded, so there are no stitch holes in the cold compartment or through the outer wall. The front pocket is welded onto the body with its own zip. Melt-water stays in the welded liner instead of reaching the foam, so the insulation stays dry and the cooler does not hold odour.

With the waterproof zip closed, the cooler is rated IPX7, verified by full water-immersion test, 2+ hours, and is leakproof in any orientation. Melt-water stays in when the cooler tips over in a car or on a boat, and rain and spray stay out. It is not rated for depth exposure. The front pocket zip is water-resistant.

Cold Holding

Packed with ice, closed and kept out of direct sun, the cooler holds ice for approximately 36 hours in our trials at 25 °C ambient. Results change with ambient temperature, sun exposure, how often it is opened and whether the contents were chilled before loading.

Quality Inspection Standards

Every production run is checked at IQC, IPQC and OQC. The suite covers load testing to 1,500 cycles on the rigid handle and webbing handles, zipper fatigue to 3,000 cycles, tensile and bonding strength on welded seams and handle patches, abrasion on the base band, colour fastness and colour difference against the approved sample, and full water-immersion testing on finished coolers. Third-party inspection by SGS or QIMA can be arranged at the buyer's cost.

Product Highlights

Wide-mouth top that spreads open for easy loading and closes into a narrow ridge. Rigid moulded top handle for one-hand lifts. Heavy-duty waterproof zip and welded food-grade liner, IPX7 and leakproof in any orientation. Front welded zip pocket, webbing handles and detachable padded shoulder strap. Melange-texture shell in heather grey or sky blue. MOQ 300 with Pantone matching down to the handle grip and zip pulls.

Printing and Logo

The standard mark is a patch on the front pocket. Woven and welded patches, screen print, heat transfer and raised silicone prints are all available. The melange texture suits tonal marks, while a contrasting patch stands out on the pocket. Handle grip, zip pull and liner colours can be matched to the brand, and zip pulls can be moulded in a custom shape. Artwork is required as vector files; a digital placement proof is returned before sampling.

OEM / ODM Capability

Sealock has manufactured insulated and waterproof gear for over 20 years, with factories in Guangdong, China and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam — the second site giving brands a non-China origin option where tariff exposure matters. We hold ISO 9001, BSCI, SMETA, Higg, GRS and SCAN certification, and produce insulated products for brands including STANLEY, Hydro Flask and CORDOVA.

The cooler body is high-frequency welded, while the shoulder pad and handle webbing are sewn to welded patches, and sewn construction is an equally mature in-house capability rather than an outsourced step. Most demanding requirements can be met, from a colourway and custom zip pulls to an airtight zip, new sizes or a full redesign; complex development with new tooling adds time to the first sample cycle, which is worth planning for early.

FAQ

What is the minimum order quantity?

300 pieces per colour.

What does it cost?

Price depends on quantity, insulation, closure, accessories and logo method. Send your specification to info@sealock.com.hk and we will quote within one working day.

Can we put our own logo on it?

Yes. Woven or welded patches, screen print, heat transfer and raised silicone prints are available, and the handle grip, zip pulls and liner can be colour-matched.

What does wide-mouth mean?

The top is gusseted, so when the zip is opened the mouth spreads wide. Bottles and food containers go in upright and everything inside is easy to see and reach.

Is it leakproof?

Yes. With the waterproof zip closed, it is rated IPX7 and leakproof in any orientation, verified by full water immersion for 2+ hours.

How many cans does it hold?

About 26 standard 330 ml cans without ice, or about 18 with ice. It also holds standard wine bottles upright.

How long does ice last?

Approximately 36 hours in our trials at 25 °C ambient, packed with ice, closed and out of direct sun.

Is it a disposable cooler bag?

No. It is a reusable, welded TPU cooler built for years of use, with a food-grade liner that wipes clean after every trip.

How do I look after the zip?

Rinse off salt and sand, lubricate the teeth occasionally with a silicone-based stick, and store the cooler with the zip open.

What is the lead time?

Samples in 7–15 days. Production is 30–35 days after sample approval, from either the China or the Vietnam factory.
