Product Description

SL-I082A and SL-I083 are the same leakproof soft cooler in two sizes. The small SL-I082A measures 38 × 25.5 × 32 cm and holds about 16 liters, or around 20 standard 330 ml cans without ice. The large SL-I083 measures 44 × 39.5 × 32.5 cm and holds about 30 liters, or around 40 cans. Both have an oval body in TPU-laminated nylon with high-frequency welded seams, 20 mm of closed-cell foam on every side, and a black food-grade TPU liner welded into a single tub. The lid closes with an airtight waterproof zip that runs around the rim. On the front, a flap pocket sits below a SEALOCK logo patch. Webbing tote handles with accessory loops run over the top, each end carries a webbing grab handle on a welded patch with a moulded hook anchor, and a bottle opener snaps onto the end webbing. A detachable shoulder strap with a padded shoulder section clips to the end anchors. Standard colours are steel blue with orange trim, seafoam, yellow and cobalt blue.

Size Guide

Model Outer dimensions Capacity Cans without ice Weight Typical use
SL-I082A 38 × 25.5 × 32 cm approx. 16 L about 20 approx. 1.3 kg Lunch and drinks for 2–3 people, day trips
SL-I083 44 × 39.5 × 32.5 cm approx. 30 L about 40 approx. 1.9 kg Family beach days, boating, tailgates, groups

Construction and Water Behaviour

The shell, liner and handle patches are high-frequency welded, so there are no stitch holes in the cold compartment or through the outer wall. The front pocket and handle webbing are sewn onto welded panels, never through the body. Melt-water stays in the welded liner instead of reaching the foam, so the insulation stays dry and the cooler does not hold odour.

With the airtight zip closed, the cooler is rated IPX7, verified by full water-immersion test, 2+ hours. It is leakproof in any orientation, so melt-water stays inside when the cooler tips over in a car boot, lies on its side on a boat deck or is carried at an angle on the shoulder strap, and rain and spray stay out. It is not rated for depth exposure. The front flap pocket sits outside the cold compartment and is splash-proof only.

Cold Holding

Packed with ice, closed and kept out of direct sun, both sizes hold ice for approximately 36 hours in our trials at 25 °C ambient. The airtight zip removes the air leak along the closure that lets warm air into coolers with a standard zip, and the larger SL-I083 holds ice slightly longer when fully loaded because of its greater thermal mass. Results change with ambient temperature, sun exposure, how often the lid is opened and whether the contents were chilled before loading.

Quality Inspection Standards

Every production run is checked at IQC, IPQC and OQC. The suite covers load testing to 1,500 cycles, zipper fatigue to 3,000 cycles, tensile and bonding strength on welded seams and handle patches, abrasion on the base, colour fastness and colour difference against the approved sample, and full water-immersion testing on finished coolers. Because the zip is airtight, every unit also goes through our customer inspection procedure — unboxing, vacuum extraction, 24-hour static rest and air-leak determination — which identifies pinhole weld faults and zip seating issues before shipment. Third-party inspection by SGS or QIMA can be arranged at the buyer's cost.

Product Highlights

One soft cooler in two sizes: about 20 cans and about 40 cans. Airtight zip and welded food-grade liner, IPX7 and leakproof in any orientation. 20 mm closed-cell foam on all sides for about 36 hours of ice under stated conditions. Front flap pocket, snap-on bottle opener, tote handles with loops, end handles and detachable padded shoulder strap. Four standard colours, MOQ 300 per colour per size.

Printing and Logo

The standard mark is a logo patch above the front pocket. Screen print, heat transfer and raised silicone prints suit larger or multi-colour artwork. Trim, pocket, webbing and liner colours can be matched to the brand, and the liner can carry an all-over print. Artwork is required as vector files; a digital placement proof is returned before sampling.

OEM / ODM Capability

Sealock has manufactured insulated and waterproof gear for over 20 years, with factories in Guangdong, China and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam — the second site giving brands a non-China origin option where tariff exposure matters. We hold ISO 9001, BSCI, SMETA, Higg, GRS and SCAN certification, and produce insulated products for brands including STANLEY, Hydro Flask and CORDOVA.

The cooler body is high-frequency welded, while the pocket, handles and shoulder pad are sewn onto welded panels, and sewn construction is an equally mature in-house capability rather than an outsourced step. Most demanding requirements can be met, from a colourway and logo change to new sizes, thicker insulation or a full redesign; complex development with new tooling adds time to the first sample cycle, which is worth planning for early.

FAQ

What is the minimum order quantity?

300 pieces per colour per size.

What does it cost?

Price depends on size, quantity, insulation, closure and logo method. Send your specification to info@sealock.com.hk and we will quote within one working day.

Can we put our own logo on it?

Yes. The front patch can carry your logo, and screen print, heat transfer and raised silicone prints are also available. Trim and liner colours can be matched to your brand.

Which size should I choose?

The small SL-I082A holds about 20 cans without ice and suits two or three people for a day. The large SL-I083 holds about 40 cans and suits families and groups.

Is it leakproof?

Yes. With the airtight zip closed, it is rated IPX7 and leakproof in any orientation, verified by full water immersion for 2+ hours.

How long does ice last?

Approximately 36 hours in our trials at 25 °C ambient, packed with ice, closed and out of direct sun. Frequent opening and direct sun shorten this.

Where is the bottle opener?

It snaps onto the webbing on one end of the cooler and can be removed if not needed.

Can we order both sizes together?

Yes. Both sizes can go on one order, at 300 pieces per colour per size, and can be packed as a matching set.

How do I look after the airtight zip?

Rinse off salt and sand, lubricate the teeth occasionally with a silicone-based stick, never force it closed over grit, and store the cooler with the zip open.

What is the lead time?

Samples in 7–15 days. Production is 30–35 days after sample approval, from either the China or the Vietnam factory.
