The Base Product

SL-I082A and SL-I083 are one oval soft cooler design in two sizes. The small SL-I082A measures 38 × 25.5 × 32 cm and holds about 16 L, or around 20 cans without ice; the large SL-I083 measures 44 × 39.5 × 32.5 cm and holds about 30 L, or around 40 cans. Both use a TPU-laminated nylon shell, 20 mm closed-cell foam and a food-grade TPU liner, all high-frequency welded, with an airtight zip that makes them IPX7 and leakproof in any orientation. The standard version has a front flap pocket with logo patch, tote handles with accessory loops, end handles with moulded anchors, a snap-on bottle opener and a detachable padded shoulder strap, in steel blue with orange trim, seafoam, yellow and cobalt blue. For a brand programme, any part of this specification can be changed. Full product details are on the standard SL-I082A / SL-I083 product page.

Two Sizes, One Programme

Because both sizes share the same design, they work well as a matched range: a 20-can cooler for personal use and a 40-can cooler for families and groups, in the same colours and branding. Retailers can list them side by side, promotional programmes can give the small size as a gift and the large size as a premium, and both can be packed as a two-piece set. Each size can be ordered on its own or together on one purchase order.

Customization Options

Shell and Trim Colours

The shell, trim band, front pocket, webbing and zip tape can each be matched to Pantone references, so the cooler can follow a brand palette exactly. The standard steel blue version already uses a contrast orange trim; the same two-tone layout can be produced in any colour pair. Lab dips are supplied for approval before sampling.

Logo Placement

The main logo sits on the patch above the front pocket. Secondary marks can go on the pocket flap, the lid, the shoulder pad or the end panels. A logo on the bottle opener or a printed zip pull can be added for retail programmes.

Liner

The standard liner is black food-grade TPU. It can be produced in a Pantone colour, or printed with an all-over pattern, logo repeat or seasonal design before it is welded, so the brand shows every time the lid opens.

Size and Shape

The 20-can and 40-can sizes run on existing tooling. Other capacities on the same oval design, such as a 12-can lunch size or a 60-can group size, can be developed with new tooling.

Insulation and Closure

Standard insulation is 20 mm closed-cell foam. It can be upgraded to 30 mm foam, high-density PU foam or VIP vacuum panels for longer hold times. The airtight zip is standard; for price-led programmes, a water-resistant zip can be specified, with the rating changing to leakproof when upright.

Accessories and Packaging

The front pocket, bottle opener and shoulder strap can be kept, changed or removed. Options include a dry pocket, a removable divider, daisy-chain hitch points and a printed ice pack. Packaging ranges from plain polybags to printed colour boxes, two-piece set boxes and gift packaging with hangtags and barcodes.

MOQ and Pricing

The MOQ is 300 pieces per colour per size, so a two-size programme in one colour starts at 600 pieces. Unit price depends on size, quantity, insulation, closure, the number of logo positions, liner print and packaging. The biggest price steps are VIP insulation, all-over liner printing and new tooling. Where a target price is tight, the most effective savings are a water-resistant zip in place of the airtight zip, a plain liner and simpler packaging, none of which affect the welded construction.

Quality Control

Every custom run is checked at IQC, IPQC and OQC against the approved samples for each size. The suite covers load testing to 1,500 cycles, zipper fatigue to 3,000 cycles, bonding strength on welded seams and handle patches, logo and liner print adhesion, colour fastness and colour difference against the approved Pantone references, and full water-immersion testing. Every airtight-zip unit also goes through our customer inspection procedure — unboxing, vacuum extraction, 24-hour static rest and air-leak determination. Third-party inspection by SGS or QIMA and food-contact test reports for the liner can be arranged.

Why Sealock

Sealock has manufactured insulated and waterproof gear for over 20 years, with factories in Guangdong, China and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam — the second site giving brands a non-China origin option where tariff exposure matters. We hold ISO 9001, BSCI, SMETA, Higg, GRS and SCAN certification and produce insulated products for brands including STANLEY, Hydro Flask and CORDOVA.

The cooler body is high-frequency welded, while the pocket, handles and shoulder pad are sewn, and both processes run in-house as equally mature capabilities. Most demanding requirements can be met, from a new colourway on both sizes to a third size or a full redesign; complex development with new tooling adds time to the first sample cycle, which is worth planning for early.

FAQ

What is the MOQ for a custom soft cooler?

300 pieces per colour per size. Both sizes can go on one order.

How much does a custom soft cooler cost?

It depends on size, quantity, insulation, closure, logo positions, liner print and packaging. Send your brief to info@sealock.com.hk and we will quote within one working day.

Can we put our logo on it?

Yes. The front patch carries your main logo, and screen print, heat transfer and raised silicone prints can add marks on the lid, pocket flap or shoulder pad. The liner can carry an all-over print.

Can you make it under our own brand?

Yes. We produce private label coolers with your branding, labels and packaging, and no Sealock marks on the product.

Can we order the two sizes as a set?

Yes. Both sizes can be produced in matching colours and branding and packed in a two-piece set box.

How long does sampling take?

7–15 days on the standard patterns, with both sizes sampled together. New sizes or shapes need new tooling and take 20–25 days.

Is there a sample fee?

The sample fee depends on how much changes from the standard design and is confirmed with the quotation.

Can the liner be printed?

Yes. The food-grade liner can carry an all-over pattern or logo repeat, printed before welding. A digital proof of the repeat is supplied first.

Can you supply food-contact test reports?

Yes. Test reports for the liner can be arranged for your target market.

What is the production lead time?

30–35 days after sample approval, from either the China or the Vietnam factory.
