Product Description

SL-C361 is a 50L boat duffel bag, holding 50 liters in a body that measures 62 × 32 × 30 cm rolled and weighs 1.8 kg. The body is 420D TPU with high-frequency welded seams, in a colour body with a black centre panel and black ends. The main compartment closes by rolling the top down and joining the side-release buckles at each end. Two grey webbing handle straps rise from long welded patches on each face, run over the rolled top and buckle together, so they hold the roll in place and compress the load; when joined, they meet under a padded, perforated grip. A one-way purge valve in the back panel lets trapped air out before the top is rolled. On the front, a mesh pocket with orange stitching sits on the black centre panel. The detachable shoulder strap has snap hooks, grey webbing and a wide padded shoulder section carrying the logo. Standard colourways are red with black, yellow with black, and all black.

Construction and Water Behaviour

The body seams and handle patches are high-frequency welded, so no stitching runs through the waterproof wall. The purge valve is welded into the back panel. The front mesh pocket is sewn onto the black centre panel, which is itself welded onto the body, so the stitching never pierces the dry compartment. The 420D TPU fabric is heavy enough for daily abrasion on decks, docks and truck beds, which accounts for most of the bag's 1.8 kg.

The rating is IPX6, verified by heavy rain and water-jet testing on finished bags. With the top rolled at least three times, the end buckles closed and the handle straps buckled over the roll, the main compartment stays dry in heavy rain and spray on a boat. The bag is not built to be submerged: a roll-top seals by folding, and the purge valve is designed to let air out, not to hold water pressure.

Roll-Top and Purge Valve

The handle straps do two jobs. Buckled over the top, they keep the roll from loosening on a bouncing deck or when the bag is thrown into a locker. Tightened, they compress a half-full bag. Before rolling the top, pressing the bag pushes trapped air out through the purge valve, so the bag packs flatter and takes less space in a hatch or a car boot.

Quality Inspection Standards

Every production run is checked at IQC, IPQC and OQC. The suite covers load testing to 1,500 cycles, tensile and bonding strength on welded seams, handle patches and the valve mount, buckle pull and release testing, salt-spray on metal snap hooks, abrasion on the base, colour fastness and colour difference against the approved sample, and heavy rain and water-jet testing on finished bags. Third-party inspection by SGS or QIMA can be arranged at the buyer's cost.

Product Highlights

50 L roll-top duffel in heavy-duty 420D TPU. Handle straps that buckle over the rolled top to lock it and compress the load. One-way purge valve for packing flat. High-frequency welded body with the mesh pocket sewn onto a welded panel, so no stitching pierces the dry compartment. Padded perforated handle grip and detachable padded shoulder strap. Three colourways, MOQ 300.

Printing and Logo

Screen printing suits solid one- to three-colour marks on TPU and resists abrasion, UV and salt. Heat transfer handles multi-colour artwork. Welded TPU patches give a raised, tonal mark. The shoulder pad carries a second large logo, and stitching and webbing colours can be matched to the brand. Logos are placed clear of the roll-top fold zone. Artwork is required as vector files; a digital placement proof is returned before sampling.

OEM / ODM Capability

Sealock has manufactured waterproof bags for over 20 years, with factories in Guangdong, China and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam — the second site giving brands a non-China origin option where tariff exposure matters. We hold ISO 9001, BSCI, SMETA, Higg, GRS and SCAN certification, and have produced for marine and fishing brands including Helly Hansen, Musto, West Marine, AFTCO and PENN.

The body is high-frequency welded, while the mesh pocket, handle grip and shoulder pad are sewn, and sewn construction is an equally mature in-house capability rather than an outsourced step. Most demanding requirements can be met, from a colourway and logo change to new capacities, a different closure or a full redesign; complex development with new patterns adds time to the first sample cycle, which is worth planning for early.

FAQ

What is the minimum order quantity?

300 pieces per colour.

What does it cost?

Price depends on capacity, quantity, fabric, fittings and logo method. Send your specification to info@sealock.com.hk and we will quote within one working day.

Can we put our own logo on it?

Yes. Screen print, heat transfer and welded patches on the body, plus a printed logo on the shoulder pad. Webbing and stitching colours can be matched to your brand.

Is it fully waterproof?

It is rated IPX6: with the top rolled at least three times and all buckles closed, it stays dry in heavy rain and spray. It is not submersible.

What fits in a 50L boat duffel?

Foul-weather gear and a change of clothes for a weekend sail, or clothing for four to five days, or a sleeping bag and camp layers for a kayak trip.

What is the valve on the back for?

It is a one-way purge valve. Press the bag before rolling the top to push out trapped air, so the bag packs flatter in a hatch or locker.

Why do the handles buckle over the top?

Buckled over the roll, the handle straps stop it from loosening on a moving deck and compress a half-full load.

Why is it 1.8 kg?

The body is 420D TPU, a heavier fabric chosen for abrasion resistance on decks, docks and truck beds. A lighter fabric can be specified on custom orders.

Is a 30L version available?

Yes. The same design is produced in 30 L, and 70 L can be made on request.

What is the lead time?

Samples in 7–15 days. Production is 30–35 days after sample approval, from either the China or the Vietnam factory.
